"Power of the mind"

I love this kind of art. The Kroller-Muller Museum has nice interesting paintings and statues, which I love to look at for them to inspire me

There was a period when I painted men, but now I'm too busy with a series of women. I'm going to have my first exposition! They asked me, so why not. In September you will see a new painting of me in the TV program 'Catherine'. The painting is called"Virgin between Roses". In Germany they are making a special about my art. "Babes" (a Dutch TV program) has also shown a painting of me. You can also read 2 interviews about my art.

Thermos, a sauna in Amsterdam, asked me to make a work of art. Because it is a sauna especially for men I painted this nude man on Tibetan paper. It belongs in the series "Venetian Blinds". Mainly it is paper between two sheets of glass. This is good for a sauna because it is waterproof. It is worth it to see this painting in up close because the light that comes from the back makes it looks like stained glass. Don't forget your bath towel!

I get more and more requests to make paintings. It is fun to talk with the client to see what he or she wants to see in the painting. I also look at colors of the walls, floor and furniture. We will decide together the style. I call myself a kind of interior architect, but I won't use that term. I just like it to make the work personal.
